Bandana competition winners wil be announced next week and Caged Steel will be producing the next generation of Bandana for Dan's next outing very soon. Right now, there is a limited number of original bandanas for sale on Ebay - search for Dan Outlaw Hardy if you want to buy one but please note that when they're gone, they're gone.

This quote from Rory Markham before the fight made me laugh: "But he doesn't have power in his hands. That's based on record. He hasn't fought the calibre of opponent that I have. Everything changes when you step into the Octagon. He's in for a shock." Jeez - imagine what would have happened if Dan DID have power in his hands! :) Nice win Dan, you did us all proud.

Dan “The Outlaw” Hardy to face Rory Markham at UFC 95 at the O2 London.

Dan "The Outlaw" Hardy will make his second appearance in the Ultimate Fighting Championship next month sharing top billing. Hardy, who is the current Cage Warriors World Welterweight Champion will face the eight time International Fight League veteran Rory Markham at UFC 95 on February 21st.

This bout will be Hardy's second Octagon appearance, and the Team Rough House star will be looking to continue his fine run of form which has seen him win 9 of his last 10 ten bouts. This run has seen Hardy defeat the likes of the former King of Pancrase; Daizo Ishige, the K-1 Hero's veteran; Hidetaka Monma and UFC veteran; Chad Reiner. On his UFC debut last October, Hardy defeated the vastly experienced eight time Pride FC veteran Akihiro Gono by split decision, in an intriguing tactical war.

Hardy faces a stern test as he looks to increase his exposure and marketability when he faces the heavy hitting IFL veteran Rory Markham next month. Markham hails from Bettendorf, Iowa, which is the home of the famous Miletich Martial Arts team. Originally from Chicago, the former IFL standout sports an impressive 16-4 pro record with 11 (T)KO's and is known for an array of stunning KO's which have seen him defeat the likes of Mike Pyle, Brad Blackburn, Marcelo Azevedo, Pat Healy and more whilst in the IFL and other organisations.

Now both these powerful strikers meet on February 21st in what should be a highly entertaining bout between two Welterweights with genuine KO power. UFC officials have also responded the early hype generated by this match-up by putting the fight on the main card. And the popular US based news site MMAJunkie.com reported on Wednesday that '(the) bout between (the) popular British fighter Dan Hardy and rising prospect Rory Markham will likely take the night's co-main-event slot.

The match-up will be shown live in the United Kingdom on Setanta Sports (which is available on Digital Satellite, Digital Cable and Freeview in the UK) and will air via tape delay on Spike TV in the USA. This will give the Nottingham based star not only the chance to showcase his skills again in front of a live arena audience but also in front of a watching UK/USA television audience too.
