Hey guys, starting shortly after my fight, I’ll be doing a nationwide MMA seminar tour of the US with Roger Huerta and Scott Epstein. I’ve done lots of seminars in the UK, but until now, not really too many in the US. So, I’m looking forward to seeing new faces (and old ones). If I’m in your city, and you train sign up! Or even if you don’t, come by at least! And if you can’t come by, recommend me some good places to eat in your home town. I won’t be dieting!

Everything is going really well! Training camp is feeling positive. Weight monitoring is going well, so I treated myself to fish and chips tonight with curry sauce and mushy peas.

Been buying a lot of records recently and just kinda throwing myself head first into music from the 60′s and 70′s: Doors, Bob Dylan, The Who, The Beat, The Police, The Beatles, etc. etc. Stuff really does sound better on vinyl.

It seems my last column in the Evening Post has stirred up quite a reaction on the forums. It’s nice to have people agreeing with me for once. Just to be clear, and for those of you that didn’t read the original article, I wasn’t having a dig at wrestling in MMA, I just find it frustrating watching fights where people are not trying to get the finish. Clinging on to someone for 15 minutes is just like running away from someone for 15 minutes, in my opinion.

“Rather than saying ‘oh, these guys can’t wrestle’, I think the problem is there’s beginning to be too much wrestling in UFC Octagon, not too little of it in the gym. I had the pleasure of rolling with an amazing person yesterday: Tyler Ransom. This 9-year-old super star was diagnosed with Nephrotic Syndrome at a young age, but it doesn’t stop him from preforming with top athletes. There is no cure for Nephrotic Syndrome or FSGS, but Tyler hopes that this video will encourage people to go to his website and learn more about both diseases and how you can support the effort to find a cure. Hi friends, I know it’s been awhile. I’ve been so busy, I’ve barely had time to update my site.

Things to look out for in the near future:

• Going to Vancouver this weekend to support my friend, Mac Danzig. I’ll be doing a radio show this Friday, June 11: the Jeff O’Neil show on 99.3 FM, the Fox! Punkass, Skrape, Ben Rothwell, Dan Hardy, Mike “Joker” Guymon, Anthony Pettis. It’s from 8:30am – 9:30am.

• Also doing an autograph signing with the UFC in Vancouver. Details are here!

• New photos of my tattoo sleeve! I’m waiting to get it finished before I get some proper photos of it. Sung Song at Unbreakable Tattoo in Studio City, CA is doing it, and it’s looking amazing!

• New photos and video of my new car! I just got a ’69 Pontiac Le Mans with a mean engine. TapouT and Fight! Magazine have been buy to get some footage of it, so I’ll try and update you once that’s up!

My little sister is climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in a couple weeks. She is taking donations for her climb, which will be donated to three different cancer charities. It’s a very long way up that mountain, so please show her support by helping her reach her target donation amount. It would mean a lot to me. RIP Grandad. Good luck, Gem! Have a great climb!
